On October 28, 2007, The Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR), the Consulate General of Japan and the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme Alumni Association of New York (JETAA-NY) welcomed the returning JETs from at the Nippon Club. Throughout the day the returning JETs had the chance to attend a career forum. Many JET alumni helped out with panels and discussion. I was there at the reception and enjoyed much talking with some returning JETs already continuing their teaching carrers in New York, stepping to an advanced degree of teaching in graduate school, or working at Japan related companies in New York.
