Brand-new Narita Express will debut on October 1, 2009
Enjoy a comfortable time on the N'EX!

The Narita Express (N'EX) connects Narita Airport with major stations, TOKYO, SHINJUKU or YOKOHAMA throughout the Tokyo metropolitan area. East Japan Railway Company will introduce the new N'EX car (SERIES E259) on October 1, 2009.

The new N'EX has a lot of improved functions and superlative design that offer you a higher standard of comfort. Please choose the N'EX for direct access to and from Narita Airport.

- Debut	October 1, 2009
- Timetable	Of the 26 round trips a day on the N'EX schedule, the new N'EX car will be Introduced for 10 round trips at the first stage. The rest of them will be replaced later. Please check the timetable.


- Improvements	1. Information displays available in English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese
	2. Power outlet for personal computer use set in armchair tip
	3. Gap between platform and train floor levels reduced
	4. Green car (1st class) restroom adapted for wheelchairs
	5. Seat pitch in Green car widened to 1,160mm (+70mm)
	6. Green car seats covered with special leather
	7. Security cameras set up in entrances, exits and luggage spaces
	8. Antitheft dial locks installed in luggage spaces near entrances and exits
