In commemoration of the Aqua Metropolis Osaka festivities, the Yamamoto Nohgakudo Theater will host 6 evenings of Japanese traditional performing arts for non-Japanese speaking audience. Each evening, four traditional arts will be featured and presented with English, Chinese and Korean subtitles.

Ms. Utsumi Eika, the Onna-Doraku performer featured in this event also performed in Chicago on June, 2008 together with the English Rakugo tour. Please see the link below for more information.
- Bunraku Puppet Theater
- Rakugo (sit down comedy)
- Onna-Doraku (comic monlogue accompanied by shamisen)
- Kamigata-Mai (Osaka traditional dance)
- Kyogen Comic Play
- Noh Play
- Ozashiki Asobi (traditional games with geiko)
- Kodan (story telling)
