More international flights between the U.S. and Tokyo

Tokyo International Airport, commonly known as Haneda Airport, has increased its capacity and opened up to eight flights per day between the U.S. and Japan. Four flights per day are allocated for Japanese airlines and another four flights are allocated for U.S. airlines. Haneda Airport is located in Tokyo’s Ota-ward, which makes the airport very convenient for travelers. For example, taking the JR line from Tokyo Station and transferring to the Tokyo Monorail at Hamamatsucho Station, it only takes around 30 minutes to get to Haneda Airport Terminal Station, and you can enjoy the view of downtown Tokyo from the train and monorail. The airport has been handling almost all domestic flights to and from Tokyo; however, with a runway project planned for completion in October 2010, the airport is expected to become one of the primary international airports in Japan.
