“Kouto Tokyo * LIGHTOPIA 2010” in Marunouchi
Marunouchi will be hosting the magical “Kouto Tokyo * LIGHTOPIA 2010,” a series of free lighting events held every evening from Dec. 21-29, in the Outer Garden of the Imperial Palace and throughout the Marunouchi, Otemachi and Yurakucho areas. The event communicates a message of “Earth, Environment and Peace,” and following this ecologically minded theme, LIGHTOPIA 2010 will use green electricity and LED lights to reduce the environmental effects on the community.
LIGHTOPIA 2010 will consist of three main venues, including “Ambient Candle Park”, the Light Art Installation “Kouryu”, and “Flower Fantasia”. Don’t miss it!

1. “Ambient Candle Park” (Dec. 21-26 only)
Location: Wadakura Fountain Park – Outer Garden of the Imperial Palace

2. Light Art Installation “Kouryu”
Location: Outer Garden of the Imperial Palace
Hours: Every night from 5 p.m.–9 p.m.
3. “Flower Fantasia”
Location: Between the Marunouchi Building and the Shin Marunouchi Building
Hours: Every night from 5 p.m.–10 p.m.
