ANA to Double Weekend Flights on Narita-New York Route

TOKYO December 20, 2010 – ANA, Japan’s leading carrier, today announces that it will increase the frequency of flights on its Narita-New York route by launching a double-daily service on Saturdays during the January to March 2011 period. Currently, ANA flies once a day between the two cities at the weekend with the new Boeing 777-300ER configured to carry 215 passengers in three classes – First, Business and Economy.

ANA has formally filed an application to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan for permission to begin the double-daily service on Saturdays starting in January.

The increase in frequency is in response to strong passenger demand for more weekend flights to New York. An ANA spokesman said: “The introduction of a double-daily service at the weekend will provide more options and convenience for weekend travelers and we are confident customers will take advantage of this improved service.”

Details of the service are as follows (Subject to approval by relevant authorities)

Service Period	Saturdays only from January 22 to March 26, 2011 (Operating days: January 22, 29; February 5,12,19, 26; March 5, 12, 19, 26.)
Timetable (Local time)	NH1010 Narita　15:45 ⇒　New York　　14:15 NH1009 New York　16:00 ⇒　Narita 20:20+1 *Flights on March 19 and 26 will depart from and arrive to New York one hour later.
