“Fly Me Here: Dream Photo Contest” seeks entries to win a trip to Japan.
ANA, Japan’s leading carrier, announced today that the official ANA English facebook page (www.facebook.com/flyworld.ana) kicked off a worldwide photo contest—“Fly Me Here: Dream Photo Contest” in conjunction with the launch of its Japanese facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ana.japan). The winning entry of the contest will take home two round-trip tickets to Japan from any ANA gateway city overseas.
Previously launched in January 2009 as the ANA North America facebook page, the site is now being touted as ANA’s global facebook page, connecting ANA’s valued passengers all around the world. The interactive site will feature several enhancements including more photos of ANA aircraft as well as a variety of videos and fun campaigns that include the newly launched photo contest.
Anyone with a facebook account who is at least 18 years old is encouraged to enter the photo contest. For those interested, follow these three easy steps. First, take a photo that is able to capture what you envision to be your dream Japan vacation. Second, make sure to “Like” the ANA page. Finally, enter your photo and tell friends and family to “Like” (vote) your entry. The photo with the most “Likes” at the end of the contest will be announced on facebook and awarded a pair of coach-class round-trip tickets to Japan in order to make his or her dream vacation a reality!
The entry and voting process will end February 28, 2011, and one lucky winner will be named March 1, 2011.
The introduction of the official Japanese site will also bolster the presence of the English site with various contents generated in Japan, such as travel tips by globetrotting ANA cabin attendants and photo greetings from the global ANA employees. A smartphone application is slated to be available soon for the Japanese page.
