Meet Japan 2011 Deadline Approaching!
 

Apply by December 22nd for your chance to discover all that
Japan has to offer for your next meeting!

The Japan Convention Bureau, a division of the Japan National Tourism Organization, in cooperation with Japan's International Convention Cities, invites association executives and international meeting planners to come to Japan for a one week period at the end of next February as our guests to participate in our “Meet Japan" Hosted Buyers Program in 2011.

For international convention decision makers who are considering Japan as a site for their events, February 24 - March 3, 2011 are dates to save. To help promote Japan as an international convention destination, JNTO is pleased to offer the continuation of our "Meet Japan" Hosted Buyers Program. If you are planning to hold an international convention in Japan in the near future, seriously investigating the possibility, or currently holding or preparing to hold a convention there, this program is for you. It offers you the opportunity to visit Japan's beautiful major convention cities and learn first-hand about their superb meeting and tourism amenities. During the week-long excursion, you'll discover the warm hospitality and unique charm of each of Japan's diverse convention cities and get all the information you need to make your next meeting in Japan a smashing success.

The sites of Meet Japan 2011 are Chiba, Nagoya, Kanazawa, Hamamatsu, Yokohama, Matsue, and Takamatsu. Participants will have to opportunity to go to a combination of these various sites!

The 2011 program and application information are outlined below.


Event Name: Hosted Buyers Program "Meet Japan 2011"
Date: February 24 - March 3, 2011 (Japan Time)
Participant Qualifications:
1) President, general secretary or a member of
site selection committee of an international organization.
2) An international organization has a Japanese branch or members
who are actively seeking to hold the event in Japan
3) New participants to Meet Japan will be given preference
over previous participants

Package:
Includes business-class round-trip air fare to Japan and transportation, accommodation (six nights) and meals during the program.
*Not Included: Airport taxes, meals not specified and items of a personal nature.

Itinerary:
Feb.24, Thu. Departure from your country
Feb.25, Fri. Arrival in Japan. You will be transferred to Tokyo.
Feb. 26- Mar. 1, Sat.-Tue. Inspection Tours visiting regional International Convention Cities.
Mar. 2, Wed. Participate in "MEET JAPAN" activities
(Session with cities) and Reception.
Mar. 3, Thu. Departure from Japan

Application Deadline:
Wednesday, December 22, 2010 (Japan Time)
